DRAWER was founded by Daniella Turbin who is an artist and long distance walker from the United Kingdom. She has a Masters in Fine Art Practice from The Glasgow School of Art (2017) and her specialist field is drawing. Since leaving education she spent six months living in Cumbria, and it was during this time that she took to long distance walking out of necessity ( - there were only ten buses a week from the village she lived in). In 2019 she returned to the West Midlands and since this time she has been on a mission to walk every square of the Ordnance Survey Maps of the United Kingdom. These walks could be instigated for any number of reasons – from historical and political through to environmental or personal.
